Love Life Today Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! I’m happy to be back today to share another 12×12 Scrapbooking layout. Today I am scrapbooking a 4×6 picture of my nephews 4th birthday party back in 2012. I began with a 12×12 white American Crafts Cardstock and a Dylusions Stencil called Small Triangles. I used my Shimmerz Dazzlerz from the shop. I used the Dreamscicle in the center of the page off to the left directly onto the cardstock. I then used the stencil with two other colors, Lemon Drop Yellow and Sour Apple Green on another piece of cardstock and cut around the triangle edges. I matted the two pieces on a thin border of dark grey cardstock.

I placed the yellow piece up top and the green piece at the bottom. I nestled my photo in between the three sections of color. I used the Kaisercraft Finders Keepers paper pad and added a simple craft piece to layer behind the photo. I then took some of the cutaparts from the paper pad and added a few of those around the page as well.

I also scattered some of the Chunky Cork Stars around as well. I added ink splatters in some dylusions coordinating colors. For my tittle I used craft thicker words from Amy Tangerine. I added some gesso to them and used a gelato to color them. I then covered them in sequins. I used the Indian Summer Sequin Mix and the Sunny Smiles Sequin Mix.
