Beautiful Moments with Evi

Good day ladies!  How fun is it to start a layout on colored card stock? Super fun.  I love the pretty teal blue card stock and I wanted the contrast from using white sequins, dollies and ‘Spun Sugar’ Dazzlers on this layout.

I started off with using a 6×6 stencil from the Crafter’s Workshop called ‘Art is’ with Spun Sugar Dazzlers from Shimmerz.  I then started layering different layers of ribbon, crepe paper, dollies, and wrapping paper pieces.  I had to adhere these layers with hot glue because of my mixed media in the background.

Once this was complete I misted a Heidi Swapp script word ‘beautiful’ with Navy and Peacock Color Shine and used the Aqua Fitzgerald font alphas for my title.  I added a flair from my stash, tangled with white thread behind it.

I added Wedding Bells sequins to a few areas for some lovely white contrast against the blue card stock.  I love this added detail to the layout and I finished it with white splatter marks.  I loved working with colored card stock for this layout.  Everyone should give it a try.  Remember to use Evi15 at checkout for a discount.
